We already have available the TV-Box X96Q PRO, the first of its kind that we find with the new SoC Allwinner H728, a chip of this Chinese manufacturer that comes with some novelty.
We do not know all the specifications of the Allwinner H728, such as its manufacturing process, but it is clear that it is an Octa Core with low power ARM Cortex-A55 processors and an ARM Mali-G57 MC1 iGPU . This is a clear step forward compared to other SoCs from this brand, such as the popular Quad Core Allwinner H618, which used ARM Cortex-A53 processors and an ARM Mali-G31 GPU. Negative points, the lack of support for codecs such as AV1 or Dolby Vision, but of course, this is a SoC that is oriented to low price TV-Box.
