The new ANBERNIC RG 40XXV console is now available in store, the vertical screen Game Boy version of the previous ANBERNIC RG 40XXH.
A machine that maintains the hardware of its predecessor, including a 4″ screen but in this case with very narrow bezels. Inside we find the usual Allwinner H700 processor, capable of emulating all 16Bit consoles, PS1, Arcade machines, and it is supposed to be able to emulate even some PSP titles.
As with the other model, the single joystick comes with a configurable RGB illuminated ring that gives it a colourful spot. As operating system on the ANBERNIC RG 40XXV the Linux based system is maintained to get the most out of it.

Inside the small retro console Anbernic RG 40XXV we find as engine a Quad Core SoC Allwinner H700. A chip with 4 ARM Cortex-A53 processors capable of reaching 1.5 Ghz and a GPU ARM MALI-G31 MP2 with support for video even up to HDR10.
This console includes 1 GB of LPDDR4 RAM. For storage, we have two micro SD card readers up to 512 GB for the operating system and store games.
Display and other notable features
As we see, its screen is horizontal, it is an IPS OCA with a size of 4 inches (10.16 cm), 4:3 ratio and resolution of 640×480 pixels. The internal battery is 3200mAh capable of lasting up to 6 game according to the brand and is recharged by a USB Type-C port dedicated to it. For wireless connectivity, we have dual-band Wi-Fi aC and Bluetooth 4.2.
In the controls section on the ANBERNIC RG 40XXV, we find a Joystick, an analogue crosshead, four triggers on the back, start, select, reset and function key. The connectors we found are a USB Type-C OTG, micro HDMI and 3.5 mm audio jack. This machine also has a vibration engine for compatible titles, gamepad support and two speakers.
