Last chance of the year to get your hands on an Anbernic RG ARC at a great price, the best-selling retro console of this brand lately.

A 4-inch laptop with a design inspired by the Sega Saturn console and arrives in two versions, one with LINUX and the other with Android 11. The Android version, Anbernic RG ARC-D, doubles the RAM to 2 GB, includes 32 GB of storage and has a touch screen.

Inside the two versions, we find the same Rockchip RK3566 processor that is being widely used in different retro consoles. This SoC allows us to move, according to specifications, more than 20 emulators included as PSP, N64, PS1, Dreamcast and more than 8 and 16 bits consoles.

The Anbernic RG ARC includes as engine in its two variants, a Rockchip RK3566 SoC manufactured in 22 nm. This processor is a Quad Core with low-power 64-bit ARM Cortex-A55 cores up to 1.8 Ghz, with a Mali-G52 MP2 GPU and an NPU for iA with a power of 0.8 TOPS.

This console has 1/2 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and for storage we find two micro SD card readers. The Android version adds 32 GB eMMC 5.1 of internal storage.

Display and other highlights

The screen of the Anbernic RG ARC is an IPS OCA with a size of 4.0 inches, 4:3 format and resolution of 640×480 pixels that in the case of the version with Android is also touch. We have wireless connectivity Wi-Fi aC and Bluetooth 4.2 and the connectors that we find are a USB Type-C OTG, micro HDMI video output, 3.5 mm audio jack, a USB Type-C for power.

As for controls, we have a configuration with a D-PAD, crosshead, six action buttons, four triggers, start and select. This console also has vibration in compatible titles, two speakers and an internal 3500 mAh battery that provides up to 6 h of autonomy with a charging time of 2 h.
