ANBERNIC RG35XX H, new retro console with horizontal screen now available for sale

The new ANBERNIC RG35XX H retro console is now available for sale, a horizontal screen version of the Anbernic RG35XX Plus.

This retro console has a 3.5-inch landscape display with the Allwinner H700 processor, 1 GB LPDDR4 RAM and a 3300 mAh battery. Exactly the same configuration as that found in the Anbernic RG35XX Plus only changes the screen format and of course the layout of the game controls.

This Anbernic uses a Linux-based system compatible with all 16Bit consoles, PS1, Arcade machines and is supposed to be able to emulate even some PSP titles.

Inside the Anbernic RG35XX H console, we find as engine an Allwinner H700 SoC with 4 ARM Cortex-A53 processors capable of reaching 1.5 Ghz and an ARM MALI-G31 MP2 GPU with support for video up to HDR10.

This console includes only 1 GB of LPDDR4 RAM. For storage, we have 64 GB with pre-installed games and two micro SD card readers up to 512 GB for other OS or store games.

Display and other notable features

The horizontal display of the Anbernic RG35XX H is an IPS OCA with a size of 3.5 inches and resolution of 640×480 pixels. The internal battery is a 3300mAh capable of lasting up to 8 of gameplay according to the brand and is recharged by a dedicated USB Type-C port. For wireless connectivity, we have dual-band Wi-Fi aC and Bluetooth 4.2.

As for controls, we have a configuration with an analogue crosshead, four triggers, start, select, reset and function key. The connectors we find are a USB Type-C OTG, micro HDMI and 3.5 mm audio jack. This console also has a vibration engine for compatible titles, gamepad support and a single speaker.
