Android 9.0 arrives at Amlogic S905W SoC with the Bilikay A968 Box

It seems that Android 9.0 has finally arrived for the Amlogic S905W Low Cost SoC as it comes standard on the Bilikay A968 TV-Box that we found listed today in the online store Gearbest.com. An operating system upgrade like this is always interesting as it allows us to increase the life of our device and provide it with new features. Now it’s time to wait to see if Android 9.0 stays only for new TV-Boxes or also goes out to update any of the S905W SoC boxes that have been on the market for some time.

Basic Review

The Bilikay A968 Smart TV Box can be used as a basic media player with KODI in FHD resolution and you can also run simple games without too many graphic pretensions, you can see similar models in our review. We must remember that this type of cheap Box does not have an assured support of updates and does not have DRM certificates so we can only see Netflix in the basic quality. If you are interested in watching Streaming, you can check our TV-Box list with support for HD and 4K quality.
