ANKER NEBULA 4K Streaming Dongle new compact solution with Android TV

Undoubtedly this is the year of the Android TV Dongle, as today we came across a new one that as usual is 100% oriented to Streaming playback.

The ANKER NEBULA 4K Streaming Dongle joins the party and although at the moment it is only available in the U.S. we have no doubt that we will see it in Europe soon. Little to note in terms of new features of this new dongle for streaming and arrives with Android TV 10 as the operating system with the typical features, Chromecast, remote control with microphone … and with the necessary certificates to view the paid streaming platforms in high quality video. The negative point is his price, $89.99 very expensive right now.

SoC, RAM and storage

We don’t know all the technical details of the ANKER NEBULA 4K Streaming Dongle, but we do know that it has an Amlogic Quad Core SoC with ARM Cortex-A53 processors capable of reaching 2.0 Ghz and includes HDR10 and Dolby Digital Plus support.

The RAM is 2 GB and for storage we have only the usual 8 GB that usually accompany this type of devices.

Other specifications

For wireless connectivity we find Wifi aC Dual Band and Bluetooth 5.0. The connectors are conspicuous by their absence, since we only have an HDMI 2.1 port capable of outputting 4K@75fps video without problems and a micro USB connector for power.

Accessories include the charger, HDMI cable and Bluetooth remote with shortcut keys to YouTube TV, Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video apps.

Price and availability

  • The new ANKER NEBULA 4K Streaming Dongle can be purchased at Amazon.com for $89.99 (€77), although we assume that it will soon also be available in Europe too.
