Introducing the new AOOSTAR MACO mini PC, an attractive computer in an aluminum case with an OCuLink connector on one side.
In this small machine we find as engine the recent AMD Ryzen 7 H 255 Octa Core processor with Zen4 Hawk Point technology, which will allow us to move all kinds of programs and games without problem by adjusting detail levels. Despite this name, it is basically a rebranded AMD 8745H, a coding strategy that we have seen multiple times by both AMD and Intel. At the top where we have the power button we have a fingerprint reader to unlock the system securely.
This mini PC undoubtedly stands out for its good number of connectors, as we find two USB4 ports and an OCuLink interface that allows us to connect with maximum performance an eGPU, using for example the AOOSTAR AG02 dock itself. In addition, in the network section we find two 2.5G Ethernet ports for maximum speed.

Inside this mini PC we find the Octa Core AMD Ryzen 7 255 processor that is manufactured in 4 nm with Zen4 technology. An Octa Core with sixteen threads, with a maximum speed of 5.1 GHz and an NPU with 58 TOPS. It includes a powerful 12-core Radeon 780M iGPU that reaches a speed of 2.6 GHz. A hardware with which we can move any demanding design app and games adjusting details.
In the RAM memory section we have DDR5 SODIMM 5600 MHz Dual Channel up to 256 GB capacity if we can afford it. For storage we have two M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe4.0 SSD connectors so we can have up to 8 TB.
Ports and operating system
In the wireless connectivity section we are up to date with Wifi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. As connectors we have a 3.5 mm audio jack, two USB-A 3.2 Gen2, two USB4 ports (full), a USB 2.0, OCuLink interface (64 Gbps) and two Ethernet 2.5 GB network ports. As video outputs we have at our disposal an HDMI 2.1, a DisplayPort 1.4 and the two USB4 with DP 2.1 video output with 8K@60 HDR10 support which gives us the possibility to connect up to 4 simultaneous displays.
This computer in the non-barebone versions includes Windows 11 Pro as a system, but we can also install Linux. It includes a small external power supply and VESA support for hanging it on a monitor.
