The Beelink brand has introduced its new mini PC Beelink GTR7 Extreme Version, an update of the basic model by increasing its maximum TPD to 65 W.
This new compact computer Beelink GTR7 Extreme Version mounts the same APU Ryzen 7 7840HS with RDNA3 architecture GPU, but goes from 54 W to 65 W, a considerable improvement in peak performance over the previous version that we saw in a review. A computer that maintains the excellent case design, also offers a vapor chamber, extra bottom fan, fingerprint reader and bottom magnetic charging.
A hardware that promises a 34% improvement in general terms, but that will really be reflected in some punctual improvement in games and more raw computing power for apps.
Beelink GTR7 Extreme Version Specifications
The new Beelink GTR7 Extreme Version mini PC includes AMD APU with Zen 4 CPU cores manufactured with TSMC 4nm FinFET technology. This AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS APU with 8 cores and 16 threads that can reach 5.1 GHz in turbo mode and has a base frequency of 3.8 GHz. Now the configuration offers us a TPD configurable between 65 W to get the most out of it,
The integrated GPU is an AMD Radeon 780M with RDNA3 technology that integrates 12 cores and a top speed of 2.7. A graphics solution far superior to the current RDNA2 that have not been on the market for so long.
Inside its box we have 32 GB of Crucial DDR5 RAM at 5600 MHz Dual Channel installed in its 2 SODIMM slots. For storage we find an SSD M.2 NVMe 2280 PCIe 4.0, we also have another M.2 SATA 2280 connector and space for a 2.5-inch storage unit with SATA3 interface.
Other features
In the connectivity section we have an M.2 adapter with Wifi 6E (1.2 Gbps) + Bluetooth 5.2 and two 2.5 Gbps Ethernet ports. We find ports spread between its front and rear, 3x USB-A 3.2, 2x USB 2.0, 1x USB-C 4 (40Gbps), 1x USB-C 3.2, 3.5 mm audio jack, and HDMI 2.1 + DP 1.4 outputs that allow displaying four screens in 8K resolution.
On the top with colored covers we have a fingerprint reader for easy Windows unlocking. Cooling is guaranteed with the vapor chamber on the APU and an extra fan in the lower area.
This small computer comes with Windows 11 Pro installed as standard and the power supply is external. It also offers VESA support for hanging it on our monitor.
Price and availability
