Another mini PC that is added to the extensive Beelink catalogue, this time with an Intel Core i5-8259U processor, is called the Beelink SEi8 and has a compact design.
This is not the first low consumption PC of this brand that includes the interesting Intel Core i5-8259U chip that we already saw in the Beelink GTi i5-8259U of which you have our review available. Of this Intel processor, its Intel Iris Plus 655 GPU stands out, much higher than the traditional Intel HD and that allows us to run a game with a minimally good visual quality. From the rest of its specifications we would highlight the inclusion of Wi-Fi 6, an NVMe SSD disk and two SO-DIMM memory slots with which we can easily expand the RAM.
Processor, RAM and storage
The Beelink SEi8 mini PC includes the Intel Core i5-8259U processor, a Quad core with Eight threads that integrates an Intel Iris Plus 655 GPU that reaches a consumption of 20/28 W TPD. For its cooling it seems that we have a good size fan and a Heat Pipes system. The RAM is 8 / 16 GB DDR4 2400 Mhz, although it can be expanded up to 32 GB thanks to the two available SO-DIMM slots. For storage, it includes a 256/512 GB capacity M.2 NVMe 2280 SSD and a free internal bay for another 2.5-inch SATA3 drive.
Other specs
Wireless connectivity is in the hands of an M.2 card that includes Wi-Fi 6 ax and Bluetooth 5.0 with internal antenna. The connectors are quite complete, and we find an RJ45 GIGA LAN network port, four USB 3.0, a USB Type-C Gen 2 port, 3.5 mm audio jack, micro SD card reader and 2 HDMI 2.0 video outputs with support resolutions up to 4K at 60fps HDR.
