New motherboard for PC from Taiwanese BIOSTAR with mini-ITX form factor and named BIOSTAR J4125NHU.
A motherboard that includes a low-power Intel Celeron J4125 processor that, from what we see in the brand’s photographs, only includes a heatsink for cooling, so we will have 0 noise in this aspect. A motherboard suitable for mounting from an office PC to a multimedia center and easily expandable thanks to its two DDR4 DIMM slots and its PCIe 2.0 x16 slot that gives us plenty of room if we want to mount a 4K multimedia centre by clicking on a graphics card.
If you want to see the performance of this processor, you can read some of our reviews of a Celeron J4125 miniPC, although the truth is that Biostar could have chosen a more modern Intel processor to dress this PCB.
BIOSTAR J4125NHU Specifications
The BIOSTAR J4125NHU includes an Intel Celeron J4125 processor, a Quad Core manufactured in 14 nm capable of reaching 2.7 GHz in burst mode and in which we find an Intel HD Graphics 600 GPU with support for h.265 video playback. and VP9 up to 4K resolutions.
For RAM memory we find 2 slots for DIMM DDR4-1866/ 2133/ 2400 with support for Dual Channel where we can insert up to 8 GB. In the storage aspect, we find two SATA III connectors and an M.2 port with PCI-E 2.0 x2 (10Gb/s) support.
As connectors, we find 3 3.5 mm audio jacks, PS/2 connector, two USB 3.1 Gen1, two external USB 2.0 and 4 internal, VGA, RJ45 Gigabit network port with RTL8111H Chip and an HDMI 1.4a output.
The audio is 7.1 and is managed by an integrated ALC887 and on the motherboard we find a PCIe 2.0 x16 slot to, for example, click a dedicated graphics card.
