New tablet that lands in stores with the name of Blackview Tab 12 that despite its nomenclature includes a typical 10.1-inch diagonal screen, not 12.
This 10.1-inch from Blackview has features that don’t particularly stand out, with a FullHD+ resolution screen and an Octa Core Unisoc SC9863A chip that you can see in the review of the Teclast P80X. Its design is perhaps its most interesting point with an attractive body made of anodized metal. The operating system is Doke OS_P 2.0, based on Android 11 that includes features such as multitasking with two applications or reading mode.
A fairly basic tablet, although if we are looking for a more powerful model we have, following this same brand, the Blackview Tab 11.
Blackview Tab 12 Specs
The Blackview Tab 12 tablet includes the Unisoc SC9863A chip as its heart, an Octa Core manufactured in 28 nm. This is a SoC with 4 ARM Cortex-A55 processors capable of reaching 1.8 GHz maximum speed + 4 that reach 1.2 GHz, while the GPU is a PowerVR IMG8322.
We also have 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64 GB of eMMc 5.1 storage memory integrated into its motherboard that we can expand up to 1 TB thanks to the included micro SD card reader.
Screen and other features
The touch screen of the Blackview Tab 12 is a 10.1-inch IPS IN-Cell with a FullHD+ resolution of 1920×1200 pixels and a 16:10 aspect ratio. On the screen, a 5 MP GC5035 camera with microphone is included at the top that complements the 13 MP SONY IMX258 rear camera with flash. We also have a 4G-LTE Multiband modem with a Dual SIM tray, dual-band Wi-Fi AC, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, FM Radio and a 6580 mAh battery that theoretically allows us to watch up to 4 hours of movies.
In the connectivity section, we only have a USB Type-C port for data and battery recharging. For audio, we find a pair of BOX speakers and a microphone, its weight is only 430 grams and its measurements highlight its thickness of only 7.4 mm.
