The variants of the Chinese tablets from a base model are the order of the day, and today we find the Blackview TAB 8E a cheaper variant of the Blackview TAB 8 with a 10.1-inch screen.
The Blackview TAB 8E tablet is nothing but an economic version of the Blackview TAB 8 where RAM and storage memory are reduced and mobile connectivity that the previous version had with a 4G-Lte modem is eliminated. The rest of the features are maintained, with a metal body, large battery and the same Octa Core Unisoc SC9863A chip with Android 10 as the operating system.
SoC, RAM and storage
The Blackview TAB 8E tablet has the Unisoc SC9863A SoC as its core, an Octa Core manufactured in 28nm with 4 ARM Cortex-A55 processors capable of reaching 1.8 Ghz of maximum speed and another 4 that reach 1.2 Ghz while the GPU is a PowerVR IMG8322. We also have 3 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 32 GB of storage memory built into the board that we can expand thanks to the included micro SD card reader.
Display and other specifications
The touch screen of this Blackview TAB 8E is a 10.1-inch IPS with a Full HD + resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels and 2.5D curved glass that rounds off its design. The screen includes a 5 MP camera with microphone at the top that complements the 13 MP rear camera with LED flash. We also have Dual Band Wi-Fi aC, Bluetooth 5.0, FM Radio and a 6580 mAh battery that theoretically allows us to watch up to 8 hours of films. In the connectivity section we have a 3.5 mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port for data and battery recharging and a magnetic connector for an external keyboard.
