We already have in Chinese online stores the new BMAX MaxPad I9 Plus tablet from a brand that little by little is presenting tablet models of all ranges
The BMAX MaxPad I9 Plus is a cheap range with a 10.5-inch screen that this time has the Rockchip RK3566 SoC as its core, a processor that we have seen in very few tablets, but that we have tested in several Android TV-Boxes. Its hardware is enough to move Android 11 with ease and use this tablet for browsing, multimedia and not too demanding games.
In general, the BMAX MaxPad I9 Plus does not particularly stand out from the competition, which has tablets of this price, but with more solvent SoC’s such as UNISOC.
BMAX MaxPad I9 Plus Specs
The new BMAX MaxPad I9 Plus tablet features Rockchip RK3566 SoC manufactured in 22nm. This chip is a Quad Core with low-power 64-bit ARM Cortex-A55 processors running at up to 1.8 Ghz, with a Mali-G52 MP2 GPU and an iA NPU rated at 0.8 TOPS. A SoC that we have already seen in a review, and it certainly has not seemed like a very good option.
We also have 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage memory integrated into the motherboard that we can expand thanks to the micro SD card reader included on one side with cards of up to 2 TB.
Other features
The IPS touch screen of this tablet has a size of 10.5 inches with an HD resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels, it also includes a 2 MP front camera with a microphone that complements the 5 MP rear one, much more powerful than normal in this range. Finally, we also have wireless connectivity, Dual Band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0.
We have a 3.85 V, 5000 mAh battery that will give us about 6 hours of use with conventional 5V 2A charging. As for connectors, we find two USB Type-C 2.0 ports for data and battery recharging and finally a 3.5 mm audio jack.
