CHUWI Hi9 PRO new tablet with Helio X20 SoC and 8.4″ OGS screen

The CHUWI brand presents you today with a new tablet based on the Deca Core Mediatek Helio X20 SoC called Chuwi Hi9 Pro, a more compact version of its Chuwi Hi9 Air model. A model that integrates a quality OGS screen that includes a 4G-LTE modem and has the Android 8 Oreo operating system. A tablet for those looking for something with a compact size, high performance and quality finishes.

SoC, RAM and storage

The new Chuwi Hi9 Pro tablet will include the Mediatek Helio X20 SoC (MT6797), a ten cores with 2 ARM Cortex-A72 processors cores, eight Cortex-A53 and an ARM Mali-T880mp4 GPU to reach the maximum speed of 780mhz. We still do not know the amount of RAM and storage that will mount but possibly be 3/32 GB or 4/64 GB. With these combinations of hardware we can move without problems even games of last generation as PUBG.

Screen and other specifications

The screen of the Chuwi Hi9 Pro will have a size of 8.4 inches IPS OGS from the Japanese manufacturer JDI and has a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels in 16:10 format, is accompanied on the top by a webcam with 5MP microphone and a rear camera with 8MP with autofocus and flash. At the level of wireless connectivity seems to have WiFi aC, Bluetooth 4.1 and in terms of connectors we have a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C and slots for Dual SIM of your 4G-LTE modem. It also has GPS with GLONAS support and has measures of 217.4 x 128.9 mm with a thickness of 7.9 mm.

  • The new Chuwi Hi9 Pro will be available shortly in the usual stores, we assume that at a lower price than the Chuwi Hi9 Air
