Today we have with us a new tablet called Chuwi HiPad XPro, which offers a very attractive metal casing design and interesting specifications.
A tablet from the Chuwi brand includes the popular UNISOC T616 processor, a slightly slower CPU version than the T618 that we have tested several times. This is a good alternative in the mid-range budget range for a tablet for home use, with a 7 mm aluminum body and sufficient hardware for multimedia and entertainment use. It implements a good screen with a size of 10.51 inches In-cell with Android 12 operating system certified by Google and Widevine L1 DRM that allows viewing various streaming platforms in good quality.
Chuwi HiPad XPro Specifications
The Chuwi HiPad XPro offers as processor the UNISOC T616 SoC manufactured in 12 nm. This chip is an Octa Core that includes 2 high-performance ARM Cortex-A75 processors capable of reaching 2.0 GHz, six ARM Cortex-A55 processors with a maximum speed of 1.8 GHz and an ARM Mali-G52 MP1 GPU that reaches 750 Mhz. Sufficient for simple games and also for demanding games in medium quality.
Integrated on the board we find 6 GB of LPDDR4 RAM, for storage we have 128 GB of uMCP memory that we can expand through the micro SD card reader up to 1 TB extra.
Display and other features
We have a 10.51-inch IPS In-Cell (single-layer display) touchscreen with 1920×1200 pixels resolution, offering reduced bezels and 360 cd/m2 brightness. In the upper frame of the screen we have an 8 MP camera with microphone that complements in the rear area we have two 13 MP + 0.3 MP cameras for depth detection.
The tablet has Wifi aC connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, a 7000 mAh battery that theoretically lets us watch up to 8 hours of video and four speakers of 1W each. In terms of connectors we have a single USB Type-C port for data and recharging the internal battery. The measurements are 246.4 x 161.51 x 7.3 mm and the weight is 510 g.
