New budget-range laptop, Coolby XealBook that now includes a 14.1-inch screen and various improvements while maintaining the price of its predecessor, the Coolby SealBook.
The Coolby XealBook is a cheap laptop that now includes a 14.1-inch IPS Full HD screen and improves RAM with 8 GB DDR4 and doubles its storage to 256 GB. Its processor continues to be an Intel Celeron J4005, a valid chip for office tasks, web browsing or multimedia without problems. The weight of this new laptop is reduced to 1.3 kg which makes it quite portable.
A cheap and simple laptop like the previous model, suitable for those who are looking for something cheap and do not have great pretensions in its use.
Coolby XealBook Specs
The Coolby XealBook includes within its body a Gemini lake processor manufactured in 14nm, the Dual Core with 2 threads Intel Celeron J4005 that can reach 2.7 Ghz. In the graphic section, it integrates an Intel HD Graphics 600 GPU compatible with VP9 and h.265 codecs and that can reach a top speed of 700Mhz. A basic range processor but enough for office programs, navigation and YouTube.
It also includes 8 GB of DDR4 RAM, it is not specified if they are expandable and a 256 GB M.2 SSD for storage that we can expand up to 1 TB and where the operating system is installed.
Screen and other features
The Coolby XealBook 14.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, brightness of 300 nits and an aspect ratio of 16:9. At the top of the screen we have an HD camera with a microphone, while for wireless connectivity we have Dual Band Wi-Fi aC and Bluetooth 4.2.
As for connectors, we have two USB 3.0 ports, micro HDMI video output, micro SD card reader and a 3.5 mm audio jack for headphones or external speakers. The battery is 32.2 Wh (4500 mAh/7.8 V), has an autonomy that according to the brand is around 6-8 hours and fast charge of 24W.
The installed operating system is Windows 10 Pro. The keyboard is complete with an English layout with a good space between keys.
