Excelvan Q96 Max with Allwinner H6 SoC and 4GB of RAM

The Allwinner H6 is a real cheap solution and we do not stop watching TV-Box with this SoC included every time at lower price. Today, the Excelvan Q96 Max is a generic Box that does not bring any novelty with respect to what we have already seen in the market and that only draws attention to include Android 9.0 as OS. In short, a box generic Android TV-Box that we can not recommended unless we find it at very low price.

Basic Review

This TV-Box with Android can serve us perfectly for KODI and IPTV, but only to play Netflix or Amazon Prime streaming at the lowest quality. If we want to watch Streaming services in quality HD and 4K you can see our list of TV-Box with Netflix certificate. In terms of power you can see the results of that SoC in our comparison of the Allwinner H6 chip included in this Box, with which we can run games with medium load, such as PUBG. In terms of support we can not expect great things from this brand.

SoC, RAM and storage

The Box Excelvan Q96 Max includes Allwinner H6 SoC, a Quad Core with ARM Cortex-A53 processors that reaches up to 1.8Ghz and an ARM Mali-T720mp2 GPU capable of processing video up to 4K resolutions at 60fps and 6K at 30fps thanks to the Allwinner Phoenix 3.0 VE engine. It also has 4 GB of DDR3 RAM and 32 GB of storage memory that we can expand thanks to the SD card reader that we found on the side of the plastic box.

Other specifications

This box comes with WiFi b/g/n with internal antenna on board (without Bluetooth) and as connectors includes a 10/100 Ethernet interface, SPDIF digital audio output, a USB 3.0 port, another USB 2.0 port, an output of HDMI 2.0 video and an analog AV output.

Among the included accessories we find, of course, an IR remote control, cables and power supply.
