AliExpress scams are unfortunately recurrent. We have already warned you about the scam that some sellers have mounted with tablets, taking advantage of the pull of brands like Xiaomi.
Lately, we are also detecting a large increase in scam laptops that offer us for about $19-30 some impossible specifications of all kinds, with 4K screens, infinite batteries, 3-year warranties … The Chinese picaresque in this aspect is worthy of Cervantes and even offer us, without looking hard, 17-inch laptops, AMD Ryzen 5 7530U and loaded with RAM for only $49.
Top-of-the-line 15 € laptops at AliExpress
The surprising thing about all this is that many people bite and then of course you can get a package with a crappy keyboard or anything, so as to have an active tracking number. There are people who denounce when the package arrives, but a lot of people do not, either out of embarrassment, a classic scam or simple ignorance, making these “sellers” proliferate.
We always recommend to open a dispute providing links to the store and information. If we receive a fake product send photos, also attach a screenshot of the product tracking. In any case, always claim 100% of the money and do not make a refund. It is also advisable not to confirm the arrival of the product before talking to AliExpress.
Possibly, these are stores directly created with bots that only want to catch people who do not claim. The cost for them is minimal and they can always scam a few dollars.
AliExpress and its online store with a thousand Fakes
Hopefully AliExpress will take action on this matter, although we fear that it will not be so. Surely we will see these products exposed in your store, as has already happened with fake tablets, despite our numerous warnings and data provided.
On the other hand, surely if we claim and provide a link to these products that are clearly FAKE we will get our money back without complications. But AliExpress should not allow these sellers, they only damage the reputation of this store and other legitimate sellers.
