Amazon has introduced new devices which highlights the Fire TV Cube with Wifi 6E connectivity and Alexa Pro remote, we also have new Kindle Scribe and several updated Echo Dot.
The new Fire TV Cube with voice control with Alexa is possibly the most powerful streaming media player to date with permission of the NVidia Shield TV. It is 20% more powerful than the previous generation, has HDMI input port and state-of-the-art connectivity with Wifi 6E. In addition, we can get our hands on the new Alexa Pro remote that incorporates backlit keys.
New Fire TV Cube with Wifi 6E and HDMI IN
The newly introduced 3rd generation Fire TV Cube offers us a new Amlogic POP1-G processor, an Octa-Core with 4 ARM Cortex-A73 + 4 ARM Cortex-A53 reaching up to 2.0 GHz. On the graphics side we have a Mali G52 MP8 GPU that reaches 800 Mhz. Overall, a SoC 20% more powerful than the previous generation.
It has 2 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 16 GB of expandable storage. This new Cube can be fully voice-controlled via Alexa and supports 4K Ultra HD cinema formats, HDR, HDR10, HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision (8/10 bit) and immersive sound with Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital Plus, TrueHD audio support.
In addition, it now incorporates an HDMI input port, Wi-Fi 6E + Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity and Super Resolution Upscaling technology image processing. With the HDM input we have the ability to connect and control your compatible devices such as set-top boxes, Blu-ray players and others. It also has an additional USB port to easily connect compatible webcams and make video calls with the Alexa communications system.
Thanks to the Wi-Fi 6E connection system, we will have a good streaming experience with less interference from other Wi-Fi devices at home. It also has a 10/100 Ethernet port in case you prefer a wired network connection, a pity it is not Gigabit.
The operating system is Fire OS 7 based on Android 9.

Alexa Pro remote, premium remote
The new Alexa Pro remote features in-command search function, customizable buttons and motion backlighting. This is a new premium remote control designed for customers The remote allows us to find it if it is lost easily, just use Alexa by saying “find remote” or use the search button on the remote in the Fire TV mobile app, and the Alexa Pro Voice Remote will sound to help you find it.
This remote features two customizable buttons to allow you to access your favorite content faster, or you can assign voice commands for Alexa. You can customize the remote by programming these buttons with shortcuts to your favorite apps and series, channels or anything Alexa can do.
The Alexa Pro Voice Remote is compatible with most Fire TV devices, as well as other TVs, sound bars and A/V receivers.
