I upgraded to this Android 7.1 ROM, and I am very happy with it! I only use it to watch videos, and KODI works flawlessly. Moreover, SPDIF output works (with COAXIAL cable, NOT OPTICAL), this feature was missing from the Android 6 ROM.
OMG! So slow… Where’s the ROM to downgrade it to Android 6?
I upgraded. It worked, but the box was crazy slow. Back to Marshmellow.
The unit was buggy. I removed the Kodi 18 and loaded 17.6. For some reason Kodi 17 kept looking for something 18 left behind. It looked good, but I went back to the iso from Gearbest.
How do you know you have a MX4VB motherboard? we have to disassemble the device to find out? or will this be in the device informaton in the OS?
No info about this, just a firmware file, sorry.
That’s the best huh
