Today we present a guide to updating, restoring, or recovering from a brick any device with a Mediatek processor.
In this guide, we explain how to install the necessary drivers, where to download the firmware for your tablet or smartphone, and how to perform the update process from a Windows PC. This process is compatible with all Mediatek Dimensity, Helio, or older MTK processors.

Basic concepts to install a Mediatek Firmware
As it is always recommendable to use OTA updates before trying to flash a device that works with a firmware from a PC, we advise using this guide as a resource to recover our tablet if there is no other option.
!ATTENTION !
- If the device works well for what we need it for, DO NOT UPDATE.
- If we don’t know what we’re doing, DO NOT UPDATE.
- If the device doesn’t work well and is still under warranty, MAKE A CLAIM TO THE STORE.
- AndroidPC is not responsible for any problems that may arise from this process.
