Today we present the new Box with Android GTMEDIA Converter X1, a very complete device if you need a DTT tuner with the ATSC 3.0 standard.
This is a Box compatible with ATSC 3.0 digital terrestrial signals used in the United States, Canada, Mexico, South Korea, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and other countries. It is also compatible with the QAM-B cable signal and integrates the HDTV app to manage channels and use direct recording to external storage via the USB port.
Android TV 12 is included as a system, and we have Widevine DRM L1 certificate to watch paid streaming in high quality. As processor, we have the interesting AMlogic S905Y4-B in its version with support for Dolby AC4 and among other aspects also includes native decoding of AV1 codec. This Android TV Box includes as its backbone an AMlogic S905Y4-B processor manufactured in 12nm. This chip is a Quad Core with low power consumption ARM Cortex-A35 processors and an ARM Mali-G31 MP2 GPU that reaches 850 Mhz. An SoC that includes AV1 codec decoding, support for video output up to 4K@60fps resolutions and compatibility with HDR 10, HDR10 and HLG technologies.
This Smart Box has 2 GB of DDR3 RAM memory soldered on its motherboard. We have 32 GB of eMMc storage memory.
Other notable features
The GTMEDIA Converter X1 has for Dual Band Wi-Fi aC wireless connectivity with internal antennas and Bluetooth 5.0. Connectors included on the perimeter of its small plastic case are a USB 2.0 port, an RJ45 10/100 Ethernet network connector, antenna connector and an HDMI 2.1 video output.
