Headwolf FPad7 an 8.4-inch with Mediatek Dimensity 7050

The new Headwolf FPad7, a tablet with an 8.4-inch screen with a great 2.5K resolution, especially considering its screen size, has just recently been released on the market.

A very handy tablet, in which this time we find as heart the recent Mediatek Dimensity 7050 processor, with which we will have no problems to move apps and games (580,000 points in AnTuTu 10 as a reference). Its weight remains at 385 grams, so we will not have issues to use it for hours comfortably viewing multimedia or playing games.

The operating system is Android 14 and includes Widevine L1 certificate, so we can see the main paid streaming apps in 1080p video quality, such as Netflix.

This small tablet is powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 7050 SoC, an Octa Core manufactured in 6 nm. A chip with 2 Arm Cortex-A78 processors that reach 2.6 Ghz and 6 ARM Cortex-A55 processors that reach 2.0 Ghz. The GPU is an Arm Mali-G68 MC4.

For RAM we have 8 GB LPDDR5 while for storage we find options with 128/256 GB of high-speed UFS 3.1 storage. We also have a micro SD card reader with support for cards up to 2 TB.

Display and other features

The screen is an 8.4-inch with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels with a refresh rate of 60 Hz and brightness of 400 nits. In the photographic section, we have an 8 MP front camera and a 16 MP rear camera with an LED Flash.

The Headwolf FPad7 has Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2, 6-axis gyroscope, quad GPS and a 4G-Lte modem with Dual SIM slot. The battery is an 6500 mAh with 18 W fast charge that can give us an autonomy of more than 6.5 hours in video playback. For audio in this tablet we have integrated two speakers with Smart-PA amplifier and as connectors we find a 3.5 mm audio jack and a USB Type-C 2.0 port
