It seems that with the new Amlogic S905X3 SoC Chinese manufacturers are including, for the moment, quite decent hardware in many TV-Boxes. This is the case of another small box that we find in Chinese stores called HK1 that at least already includes 4GB of RAM, WiFi aC, Bluetooth and a Gigabit Ethernet network interface, points where usually the eastern manufacturers apply the cuts. In short, a completely interesting Box to use as a 4K media player, although it should be remembered that it lacks certificates to watch paid streaming in FHD and 4K quality.
SoC, RAM and storage
The HK1 Smart TV Box includes the AMlogic S905X3 SoC, a Quad Core manufactured in 12nm, which reaches up to 1.9 GHz speed and integrates a Mali-G31 MP2 GPU, a SoC that you can see in detail in our review. This SoC has 4 ARM Cortex-A55 CPU cores and also an NPU for iA. The VPU is an Amlogic Video Engine 10 with support Dolby Vision HDR, HDR10 +, HDR10, HLG and PRIME HDR among others. The HK1 is available in versions with 4 GB of DDR3 RAM and 32/64/128GB of eMMc storage memory that can be expanded from the microSD card reader included on the side of the case.
Other features
At the level of wireless connectivity we find Wifi aC with internal antenna and Bluetooth 4.0 for all its configurations even the most basic. The connectors included in the plastic box are a USB 2.0 port, another USB 3.0, a Gigabit Ethernet connector, an analog A/V output interface and an HDMI 2.1 video connector. The operating system is Android 9.0 and a basic IR remote control is included.
Price and availability
- The HK1 TV-Box with S905X3 SoC can be purchased on Aliexpress.com, Banggood.com and Gearbest.com from $ 34.50 with free shipping.

I need the original firmware for this TV Box with the version number on the pcb HK1_S905X3_4BIT_V11 (05 11 2019) but I can’t find it anywhere, would someone be so kind as to upload it or tell me where to download the correct version please? That would help me a lot. Thanks in advance for your work, greetings.

They messed the maintenance menu up to 2 menus. There is no micro-usb (ota) plug to make firmware updates via usb-burning tool.
