In a few days we will have on the market the new Honor Tab V7 Pro a tablet recently presented and that stands out for including the recent Mediatek Kompanio 1300T SoC.
The Mediatek Kompanio 1300T is a chip designed exclusively for tablets and manufactured in 6 nm very similar to the new SoC for smartphones Dimensity 1100. This is a tablet with a very careful design and hardware that stands out at the photographic and screen level with a panel with 2.5K resolution and a refresh Android 11rate that can be configured up to 120 Hz.
The operating system is with the Magic UI 5.0 layer optimized for tablets, with special functions for sharing documents and where we can have Windows-style windows.
SoC, RAM and storage
The Honor Tab V7 Pro includes a MediaTek Kompanio 1300T, an Octa Core where we find two clusters, one with 4 high-performance ARM Cortex-A78 processors and another with high-efficiency ARM Cortex-A55. The GPU is a powerful Mali-G77 MC9 supported by and includes an engine for iA MediaTek APU 3.0.
The RAM has options of 6/8 GB LPDDR4x, expandable with an extra 2 GB of storage using Smart Storage technology and for storage we have a choice of 128 GB or 256 GB.
Display and other specifications
The Honor Tab V7 Pro’s display is an 11-inch with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, maximum brightness of 500 nits, 16:10 aspect ratio, 120 Hz refresh and includes support for Magic Pencil 2 with 4096 pressure levels. Regarding cameras we have a 44 MP front camera with stabilizer and on the back we find two, something uncommon in tablets, with a 13 MP main camera supported by a 2 MP secondary camera. We also have GPS, Wifi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, FM Radio and optional modem connectivity for 5G mobile networks. The available interfaces are a USB Type-C port and magnetic keyboard connector.
Finally the battery is 7250 mAh with an autonomy that can reach up to 10 h, has fast charging 22.5 W and in the body are integrated 4 symmetrical speakers compatible DTS:X Ultra.
Price and availability
- The new Honor Tab V7 Pro will be on sale from August 21 for a price of around $385 (€325).
