We are going to explain how to install applications on our Google TV Box or Smart TV using the app file that we download from the internet.
The new versions of Google TV as we have found, prevent us by default to install external applications using APK or XAPK files. To be able to install them we need to activate the developer mode on our hardware, such as the Chromecast with Google TV, other similar TV-Boxes or on a Smart TV with this system. In the following tutorial, we explain how to perform all the necessary steps to be able to use the OS as we want.
