Huawei introduced a few days ago its new tablet HUAWEI MatePad Pro with 10.8 inches that includes the almighty Kirin 990 Octa Core SoC manufactured in 7nm + EUV and that puts this tablet at the top of Android tablets. This tablet that can already be purchased in China is very worked in all its aspects, not only the hardware, since at the software level it includes a multi-window system quite practical for this environment.
The front of the MatePad Pro is very used with narrow frames and a camera in a corner that pierces the screen thus achieving a great use of the front that reaches 90% and reducing its total size. It will also optionally include a keyboard and a stylus that is held and recharged magnetically on one side, also has 5G modem, details on all fronts as you can see.
SoC, RAM and storage
The new HUAWEI MatePad Pro includes the powerful Kirin 990 SoC, an Octa Core with 4 ARM Cortex-A76 + 4 ARM Cortex-A55 processors and a powerful ARM Mali-G76 MP16 GPU to move any current game or app. It also includes 6/8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128/256 /512GB of storage memory that we can expand via microSD card reader.
Display and other specifications
Its screen is an IPS manufactured by SHARP with 10.8 inches with 16:10 format and a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and ambient light sensor. In front we have an 8MP camera and behind a 13MP camera with flash, while the audio system includes 4 speakers and noise canceling microphone. We also have WiFi aC, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS, a USB 3.1 Type-C and a 7250mAh battery with fast charging up to 40W, wireless and reverse charging.
At the operating system level it includes EMUI 10 based on Android 10 and includes the services of Huawei although the Chinese stores already send it with the Google Play Store installed and functional.
