Infinix NOTE 50x, budget range with 5G and Mediatek Dimensity 7300 Ultra

A new budget 5G handset has been unveiled, the Infinix NOTE 50x, which boasts the Mediatek Dimensity 7300 Ultra SoC, which is nothing more than a rebranded Dimensity 7300.

A terminal that is basically attractive for its price and the quality of its configuration, as it is very tight. It uses the recent Mediatek Dimensity 7300 SoC and a 6.67″ panel with a refresh rate that reaches 120 Hz. Also note that its body has IP64 certification and MIL-STD-810H military grade resistance with a screen that we can use efficiently even with wet fingers.

The operating system is Android 15 with the XOS 15.0.3 layer that includes different functions powered by iA and promises system updates for 2 years and security patches for another 3 years.

Infinix NOTE 50x Specifications

The SoC of this new Infinix smartphone is the recent Mediatek Dimensity 7300, an Octa Core manufactured in 4 nm. Inside this integrated we have two clusters, the most powerful with 4 ARM Cortex-A78 processors that reach 2.5 Ghz and the most efficient with 4 ARM Cortex-A55 processors that reach 2.0 Ghz. The GPU is a Mali-G615 MC2 that reaches 1047 Mhz and includes support for HDR10 technology. We also have an NPU 655 for artificial intelligence work.

The RAM memory has versions with 6/8 GB LPDDR4X although as always we can expand it virtually with the storage memory. For storage, we find 128 GB UFS 2.2 that we can also expand via micro SD slot up to, we assume, with 2 TB capacity cards.

Display, cameras, and autonomy

The display panel used by the Infinix NOTE 50x is a 6.67-inch IPS with 2408 x 1080 pixel resolution, maximum brightness of 672 nits, 120 Hz refresh, 20:9 aspect ratio and includes light and proximity sensors.

For selfies we have on the front an 8 MP camera that complements the rear sensors integrated in a circular module, with a 50 MP main sensor supported by an auxiliary one for which we have no data. We also have a lateral fingerprint reader, 5G/4G LTe connectivity with Dual SIM, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, IR sensor/emitter and GPS 4 in 1 for precise positioning anywhere

As for connection interfaces, in this new terminal we find a USB Type-C 2.0 OTG port for data and recharging and a 3.5 mm audio jack that lately is in danger of extinction. The battery is 5500 mAh with fast charging up to 45 W, 10 W reverse and for audio we have DTS and HI-Res Audio compatible stereo speakers.
