We have available in stores the new Intel NUC 12, this new compact computer offers an Intel Core i5-1240P processor from the Wall Street Canyon family.
This new Intel NUC 12 Pro compact computer offers us the popular Intel Core i5-1240P processor, a chip that has the Intel Iris Xe GPU that far exceeds the previous Intel HD Graphics. A processor that we also find in the new Xiaomi Mini Host and in the Beelink SEi12 Pro. Intel NUC 12 Specifications
This Intel NUC 12 computer has the Intel Core i5-1240P processor manufactured in 10 nm (Intel 7) with a power consumption of 20/64 W TPD. It has 12 cores inside, four high-performance and eight low-power, in total it can handle 16 processes and reaches up to 4.4 GHz. As GPU we find an Intel Iris Xe with 80 EU. With this processor we will have no problems to move any design app at a very good level or perform demanding tasks in calculations.
Inside the case we have 16 GB of Dual Channel DDR4 3200 MHz RAM installed in its 2 SODIMM slots and can be expanded up to 64 GB. For storage we find a 512 GB SSD M.2 NVMe PCie 4.0 2280 and it seems that we do not have space for a 2.5″ disk.
Other features
As for networking, we have an internal M.2 card with Wifi 6E + Bluetooth 5.2 and a 2.5 GB Ethernet port. As connectors we find distributed between its front and rear three USB-A 3.2 Gen2 ports (Thunderbolt 4), a USB 2.0, 3.5 mm audio jack and 2x HDMI 2.0 video outputs capable of resolutions up to 4K@60Hz.
The operating system installed is Windows 11 Pro, although we can install Linux. A small external power supply is included and on the perimeter of its case we have many ventilation slots to expel air from its internal fan to the outside.
