New compact miniPC that we found in the Banggood.com online store under the name of IRU M7 and with which we can set up a powerful and custom mini PC thanks to its i5 processor and barebone format. A miniPC of small size that we can install in any corner as it has a size of only 138 x 123 x 39 mm, also includes a VESA adapter and is compatible with Windows 10 and Linux. Lately we have Chinese miniPC options for all tastes and pockets with quite decent specifications.
Basic Review
The miniPC IRU M7 is powered by the low power processor with a power far superior to the Celerons or Pentiums that we usually find in the mini PC’s and that allows us to use programs of all kinds with complete fluency, in terms of games we are limited to titles simple 3D. At the multimedia level you can play video up to 4K@30fps resolutions and in terms of streaming we can see Netflix, Prime Video, HBO up to FullHD as in any of the others miniPCs that we recommend.
Processor, RAM and storage
The miniPC IRU M7 includes an Intel Core i5-7200U processor that has two physical cores and four threads running at a speed of 2.5GHz, integrates an Intel HD Graphics 620 GPU with 24EU and its consumption is between 7.5 and 15W TPD. Inside the small box of the miniPC we also have at least one SO-DIMM slot where you can install up to 16GB of RAM and it looks like an M.2 interface for SSD and a bay for 2.5″ SATA3 disks.
Other features
The miniPC IRU M7 also includes in the wireless connectivity section we have WiFi aC + Bluetooth 4.0. The available interfaces found in the perimeter of your box are multiple 2 USB 3.0, 2 USB 2.0, a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C, a 3.5mm audio jack, SPDIF digital audio output, Gigabit network port and an HDMI 1.4 video output.
