Today we came across in AliExpress a new Box with Android 11 and that mounts the solvent Amlogic S905X4 processor, the so-called ISINBOX G18X4.
The ISINBOX G18X4 is a generic TV-Box that is commanded by a powerful Amlogic S905X4 SoC, capable of decoding the latest generation AV1 codec with its hardware without flinching. To learn more about this AMlogic SoC you can read our review of the S905X4 compared to other processors. This is a Box with Android fully suitable to be used as a multimedia player, with KODI or similar, to run games and many emulators, although a version with 4 GB of RAM would be better, since we have only located a model with 2 GB of RAM.
On the other hand, it is not the best option for Box to be used with paid streaming platforms, since it does not have certificates of any kind. To view them in the best video quality, we have other alternatives.
ISINBOX G18X4 Specifications
The Android Box ISINBOX G18X4 includes the AMlogic S905X4 processor as its engine. This chip is a Quad Core manufactured in 12nm with low-power ARM Cortex-A55 processors that reach speeds of 2 GHz and integrates a Mali-G31 MP2 GPU that reaches 650 Mhz. The VPU includes 4K@60fps, HDR, HDR10 and HLG support.
In the store we have different versions with 2 GB of DDR4 RAM memory soldered on the board, 16 GB of eMMc storage to choose from and a micro SD card reader where we can connect up to 64 GB cards to expand the internal memory.
Other features

The connectors included on the sides of its plastic case are a USB 2.0 port, another USB 3.0, 3.5 mm analogue audio and video output jack, SPDIF digital audio output, RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet interface and a video output HDMI 2.1 that can output video up to 8K resolutions.
