The KAMRUI E1 mini PC has just been introduced, another upgrade from the classic Intel N100 processor to the recent Intel N150 with higher speed.
The Intel N150 Quad Core processor is a version of the Intel N97 found in the AK1Plus we saw recently. The four cores in this CPU are 10% faster than those of the Intel N100 at 3.4 Ghz, now reaching 3.6 Ghz. As graphics solution integrates the same Intel UHD GPU, although its maximum speed goes from 750 MHz to 1000 MHz and we have a much higher TDP, going from 6 W to 25 W TPD. An update that we will compare shortly, we will see how it affects the thermals, noise and performance.
As we can see, the design remains exactly the same as in other mini PCs of the brand, inside we find the same RAM, with 16 GB in this case and a 512 GB M.2 SSD. A mini PC intended for browsing, emulators and multimedia playback.
KAMRUI E1 Specifications
This version of the KAMRUI Essenx E1 mini PC now offers the Intel N150 (Twin Lake-N) processor manufactured in 10 nm with four cores and four execution threads, reaching 3.6 GHz. In terms of graphics power, we have the integrated Intel UHD Graphics GPU with 24EU supporting VP9 and h.265 video codecs up to 4K@60fps and with a speed reaching 1 GHz. Enough for indie games, titles like LoL, CS and other simple titles with low 3D load.
On the motherboard it seems that it mounts RAM memory of 16 GB DDR4 in an expandable SODIMM. In the storage section mounts we have a M.2 NVMe/SATA 2280 SSD slot, normally mounts a 512 GB M.2 SATA SSD that we can change. We have a SATA3 housing for a 2.5″ drive that we can mount in a fixed way.
Other notable features
In terms of network connectivity we find Gigabit Ethernet port and an M.2 module with dual band Wifi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2. In the connector area we have 2 USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0, 3.5 mm audio jack and two HDMI 2.0 to DP 1.4 video outputs that allow 4K@60fps video playback without jumps.
By default we have Windows 11 Pro operating system installed. A small VESA bracket is also included to install this mini PC behind most monitors or TVs.
