The first Khadas Mind Pro mini PC with the Intel Core Ultra X7 385H processor is now available. A solution that integrates the powerful Arc B390 GPU to run demanding games.
This is possibly the only mini PC currently available with this generation of Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, as the ASUS NUC 16 Pro with Intel Core Ultra X9 388H has been announced but does not appear to be available. This machine features the powerful Intel Core Ultra X7 Processor 358H manufactured with the 18A process, which reaches 65 W of power consumption. For graphics, we have the Intel Arc B390 iGPU with new-generation Xe3 cores, finally a serious competitor to high-end integrated AMD GPUs.
According to tests, these Intel processors offer 40-50% improved performance . Interestingly, in terms of AI, it does not waste resources, as it maintains the figures of the previous generation in a smaller space.
Khadas Mind Pro Specifications
This Khadas Mind Pro mini PC features the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H, with a 16-core configuration (4P 8E 4LPE) up to 5.0 GHz with variable power consumption up to 65 W. The GPU is an Intel Arc B390 that integrates 12 Xe3 cores up to 2.5 GHz with image and performance enhancements withXeSS. In addition, it integrates an NPU for artificial intelligence tasks of up to 50 TOPS, which, added to the CPU, brings us to 180 TOPS.
For RAM, there is up to 64 GB of integrated LPDDR5X reaching 9600 MT/s in Dual Channel. For storage, there are two connectors for SSD 2230 NVMe PCIe 4.0, up to 8 TB.
Other notable features
In terms of connectivity , we have Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6. There are only two USB-A 3.2 Gen2 ports, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, and an HDMI 2.1 FRL video output with 8K@60 or 4K@240 support. In addition, there is a unique Mind Link port for connecting the brand’s own external GPU an external GPU from NVIDIA RTX 5060 TI 16GB.
The operating system is Windows 11 Pro, but we can install Linux. Along with the mini PC, there is also an expansion dock of the same size, a portable screen with a keyboard, and an additional box for a discrete GPU. A complete package that can be expensive if we add everything up.
