KingnovyPC X8, new mini PC with up to 8 Ethernet ports

Today we find a peculiar mini PC called KingnovyPC X8 that offers no less than 8 Ethenert 2.5G ports.

This small computer is designed to be used as a softrouter managing a good number of connections. Inside we find the Intel N100, N200 and Core i3-N305 processors, ideal solutions for efficiency for this type of device. A system that by default comes with Pfsence installed to manage the networks we need, a very popular solution for this type of work.

As we can see we have a large number of ports, highlighting its connectors, especially its 8 Ethernet 2.5 GB. But we also have the possibility of staying in 4 Ethernet + 2 SFP to link between devices.

The KingnovyPC X8 mini PC integrates several processor options, we have the popular Intel N100 and N200 Quad Core and the most powerful with an Intel Core i3-N305, all manufactured in 10 nm. This powerful chip is an Octa Core with eight threads, speed up to 3.8 GHz. The GPU is an Intel Core UHD GPU with 32EU that reaches a speed of 1.25 GHz.

As for RAM we have versions with 8/16/32 GB DDR5 at 4800 MHz in one slot. As for storage, we have a M.2 2280 NVMe PCIe3.0 SSD up to 1 TB and space to mount another SATA3 M.2 storage unit.

In terms of connectivity, we have variants with 8 Ethernet 2.5G or another configuration with 4 Ethernet 2.5G + 2 SFP. Optionally, it is possible to mount an adapter with Bluetooth Wifi or even a 4G modem with the SIM slot integrated in the front.

In the connector area we find five USB 2.0, another USB 3.0, a USB-C 3.0 and a 3.5 mm combo audio jack on the perimeter of the case. There are also HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 video outputs that allow video playback up to 4K@60fps HDR resolutions.
