The new Lenovo Legion Y700 2025, a compact tablet designed for gamers and those who want power for emulation, is now available.
This 3rd Generation Y700 tablet offers the powerful high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and an improved cooling system. This chip has an Adreno 750 iGPU to enjoy demanding games, as it even supports real-time ray tracing. Its display is 8.8″ 2.5K, it has fast LPDDR5X RAM and high-speed UFS 4.0 storage memory. The operating system includes software to manage the configuration of each game and get the most out of it, dual vibration engine and two full USB-C so we can simultaneously charge the tablet and use a peripheral simultaneously.
The system is Android 14 with a Global ROM that has Google Play but no OTA updates. Depending on the use, perhaps we are more interested in the Eastern firmware and use it in English, there is scene about it with the different options.

Included in the Lenovo Legion Y700 3rd Gen is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Octa Core SoC with ARM Armv9 architecture and manufactured in 4 nm. It features an ARM Cortex-X4 main core that goes up to 3.3 GHz, three high-performance ARM Cortex-A720 cores at 3.2 GHz, another two ARM Cortex-A720 cores at 3.0 GHz and two low-power ARM Cortex-A520 cores that reach 2.3 GHz. Of course we have a Qualcomm Hexagon NPU optimized for processing iA jobs.
In the graphics section we have an Adreno 750 GPU that allows us to move everything to the maximum. This iGPU supports OpenGL ES 3.2, OpenCL 2.0, DirectX 12, Vulkan 1.1, has support for real-time ray tracing, Lumen Global illumination from Unreal Engine 5, AV1 decoding and much more.
This tablet comes with 12/16GB of LPDDR5X RAM soldered on board that we can virtually expand with 8 GB more of ROM. For storage we have versions with high speed memory 256/512 GB UFS 4.0, with option to expand it up to 1 TB thanks to the micro SD card reader on one of its sides.
Display, network and autonomy
The screen is an 8.8-inch IPS In-Cell with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, 165 Hz refresh rate, 16:10 aspect ratio and 500 nits brightness. In terms of cameras we have an 8 MP front camera with two microphones and on the back we find another 13 MP camera. We also have wireless connectivity Wifi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 and light sensor, gravity and gyroscope.
Its battery has a capacity of 6550 mAh with an autonomy that can reach up to 14 h depending on use. It includes fast charging up to 68 W. Its body integrates 2 Dolby Atmos compatible stereo speakers and a powerful dual vibration motor system. For connectivity we find two USB Type-C 3.2 Gen2 ports with DisplayPort video output.
