Lenovo XiaoXin Pad Pro 2021 presented with exciting enhancements

The new Lenovo XiaoXin Pad Pro 2021 tablet has just been presented, a new version of the spectacular XiaoXin Pad Pro that we saw a few weeks ago in one of our reviews.

This new tablet keeps its spectacular 11.5-inch 2K OLED display with support for Dolby Vision and HDR 10, but this time adds 90 Hz maximum refresh rate, hopefully not pentile in its pixel structure, something that detracted from the quality of the previous model. The SoC also has a considerable improvement jumping from the Snapdragon 730G to the powerful Snapdragon 870 Octa Core and the operating system will be as always in this brand ZIUI, based on Android 11.

SoC, RAM and storage

The new Lenovo XiaoXin Pad Pro 2021 features a Snapdragon 870 Octa Core SoC manufactured on 7nm. This Chip reaches up to 3.2 GHz in one of its ARM Cortex-A77 cores, has three other ARM Cortex-A77 cores and four ARM Cortex-A55 low-power CPUs. On the graphics side we have an Adreno 650 GPU with OpenGL 3.2 and Vulkan 1.1 support.

This tablet will surely include 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of expandable storage memory via microSD card slot offered.

Display and other specifications

The Lenovo XiaoXin Pad Pro 2021 tablet features a new 11.5-inch OLED display with 2K resolution (2560×1600) with 600 nits illumination that supports HDR 10 and Dolby Vision. The cameras sure are not bad as in the previous model, we will have rear and front available. In addition, we will have 4 speakers with a very powerful sound.

We also have a USB Type-C 3.2 port with video output, 4-pin connector for keyboard, Wifi connectivity, Bluetooth and GPS for location. The battery is not yet defined, but we will have fast charging for sure thanks to the Snapdragon SoC, in the previous model we had a very good autonomy.

Price and availability

  • The Lenovo XiaoXin Pad Pro 2021 tablet is available soon and in online stores like Aliexpress.com will have a price that will be around $500 for sure.
