M600, high-performance mini PC with the powerful AMD Ryzen 7940HS

New version of the Chinese M600 mini PC, this time with the high-performance AMD Ryzen 7940HS processor, with which we will have the power to run any program.

This AMD chip is an Octa Core manufactured in 4mm, based on the Phoenix architecture and which includes an interesting AMD RADEON 780M GPU of which you can consult our review and which gives very good performance. The M600 stands out for incorporating DDR5 memory, good storage expansion options with two slots for SDD M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0.

We also find a USB4 port on the front of the box, similar to Thunderbolt 3 in speed, which uses a reversible USB-C connector with speeds of up to 40 Gbps and which, in this case, is also enabled for video output and 100W charging.

M600 Mini PC Specifications

The M600 mini PC has a version in which we can opt for a powerful AMD Ryzen 7940HS processor manufactured in 4nm with a TDP of between 35 and 54 W and cooled by a fan. This chip is an Octa Core with 15 threads that reaches 5.2 Ghz in turbo mode. For graphics, we have an integrated AMD 780M with 12 RDNA 3 GPUs that reach a maximum speed of 2.8 Ghz.

In addition to having a barebone option, we find models where the RAM is 16/32/64 GB DDR5 5600 Mhz in Dual Channel. For storage, we have an installed M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD of 500 GB or 1/2/4 TB capacity, another connector for a second M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD and a SATA3 connector for another 2 storage unit, 5 inches.

Other features

For network connectivity, we have a good combo with Wi-Fi 6 + Bluetooth 5.2 and two RJ45 2.5G network ports. As interfaces, we find on the perimeter of the box 3 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, two USB 2.0, 3.5 mm audio jack, two HDMI 2.0 video outputs and one USB4 Type-C with data output, power PD 100W and DisplayPort 1.4 video.

The small M600 is powered by a small external transformer, a VESA plate is included to anchor it behind any monitor or TV, and the operating system is Windows 11 Pro.
