MECOOL Now KA2, Box for video calls with Android TV 10 certified by Google

The Chinese brand Mecool has just presented a new device with android, which this time goes a little out of the line to which we were accustomed to its MECOOL Now KA2.

A device totally oriented towards video conferencing, both by design and hardware and that includes Android TV 10.0 certified by Google as a system. As you can see, it is specifically designed to be placed on top of a TV or monitor and make video calls autonomously, although due to its hardware, with Amlogic S905X4 SoC, it can be used as a normal Smart Box.

For video calls, it includes a 2 MP camera with a resolution of 1980 x 1020 pixels that is accompanied by 2 long-range microphones and a 5 W speaker. On its front we find a button with which you can directly access Google DUO videoconferences, various indicative LEDs and switches to physically override the microphone and cover the webcam and thus fully preserve our privacy. It also supports ZOOM, Skype, and Tik tok.
