The new OPPO K15, a mid-range smartphone designed specifically for gamers, has just been unveiled in China. It features an advanced cooling system with a vapor chamber and a small fan capable of lowering temperatures by up to 5 degrees.
Inside its durable body which is IP69-certified for dust and water resistance and features gaming-inspired design elements is the mid-range octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7360-SUPER processor, a slightly more powerful variant of the MediaTek Dimensity 7300. This 4-nm chip scores around 700,000 points on Antutu v11. It comes with 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage, though this time the storage isn’t expandable via microSD card.
The OPPO K15 features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2760 x 1256 pixels, brightness reaching 1,200 nits, and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. On the camera front, it features a 50 MP OIS main rear camera supported by a 50 MP wide-angle camera and an LED flash, while the front-facing camera is a 50 MP unit.
For audio, there are two speakers, and the battery is an 8,000 mAhunit with fast charging up to 80 W. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, an IR sensor, GPS, and a 5G modem with Dual SIM support. In terms of ports, there’s a USB-C port; the fingerprint reader for unlocking the smartphone is integrated beneath the display; and for audio, there are two speakers.
The operating system is Android 16 with the ColorOS 16 interface, which includes various AI-powered tools.
