Meelo+ XTV Air new Box for basic range IPTV

In our daily search for the world of multimedia boxes, today we found the new Meelo+ XTV Air, an option oriented to the world of IPTV.

As the engine of the Box Meelo+ XTV Air we have the well-known Quad Core Amlogic S905W2 processor compatible with the AV1 video codec and with support for content up to HDR 10+. A chip with which we will not have problems to use this box as a media player as you can see in our review. The particularity of the Meelo+ XTV Air is in the presence of the specific software for IPTV MYTVOnline software that includes support for STALKER, Ministra V3, Xtream Codes, etc.

For the rest, this is a basic Box that includes Android 11 and in which its large remote control stands out, quite complete and that we can buy with IR or Bluetooth connectivity.

BOX Meelo+ XTV Air specifications

The Meelo+ XTV Air includes an Amlogic S905W2 processor manufactured in 12nm soldered on its small motherboard. This chip is a Quad Core with low power ARM Cortex-A35 processors and a MALI-G3 MP2 GPU. This processor is enough to move the Android 11 included, streaming apps, KODI, IPTV and some simple 3D load games that, as always, the CPU is cooled by a fanless heatsink, so we don’t have any noise.

In this small box we have versions with 2 GB of DDR3 RAM and 16 GB of eMMc storage memory on the board. It also has a memory card reader in micro SD format that allows us to increase its internal storage capacity.

Other features

In the wireless connectivity section in the Meelo plus XTV Air we have for this purpose Dual Band Wi-Fi aC with internal antenna and Bluetooth 5.0. As for connectors, on the perimeter of its plastic box we find a USB 2.0 port, another USB 3.0, 3.5 mm connector for analogue audio and video, SPDIF digital audio output, HDMI 2.0 video output port and an RJ-45 network connector with 10/100 speed.
