Meelo XTV SE2, new Box with Android 11 for IPTV

Another new Box with Android 11 that we found on AliExpress and that is based on the popular AMlogic S905W2 processor called Meelo XTV SE2.

This time we are dealing with a box basically oriented towards playing video over IPTV, since it includes pre-installed software for this, such as Xtream codes and Stalker. The Meelo XTV SE2 also comes with Android 11, AV1 video decoding up to 4K@60fps resolutions, and support for HDR 10+ technology. Its processor is very interesting within its price range, as you can see in our Review, and it is basically oriented towards multimedia playback, apps, and IPTV streaming, as in this case.

Remember that this type of Box is not suitable for viewing payment platforms such as Netflix (there are other alternatives), since it lacks certificates to view them in maximum video quality, but it can work on everything else without problems.

Meelo XTV SE2 Specs

Inside the Box with Android Meelo XTV SE2 we find the Amlogic S905W2 SoC manufactured in 12nm as the heart. This processor is a Quad Core with ARM Cortex-A35 processors and a MALI-G3 MP2 GPU. A sufficient processor to use streaming apps, KODI and some simple 3D games, as always it is cooled by a fanless heatsink, so we do not have any noise.

In this device, we have 2 GB of DDR3 RAM and 16 GB of eMMc storage memory soldered on board. It also has a memory card reader in micro SD format that allows us to increase its internal storage capacity.

Other features

In the wireless connectivity section in the Meelo XTV SE2 we have Dual Band Wi-Fi aC with internal antenna. In the connectors section, this Smart Box has the usual, 1 USB 2.0 port, a USB 3.0, HDMI 2.1 video output port, RJ-45 10/100 network connector and finally an analogue port for audio and video.

Included with the accessories are an infrared remote control, power adapter and all the necessary cables to get it up and running right out of the box.
