Mi Router AX9000 now on sale, the most powerful Xiaomi router


As it could not be otherwise after its presentation we already have for sale on AliExpress the recently presented Xiaomi Mi Router AX9000.

A router oriented to the booming gaming market that reaches a raw speed of 9000 Gbps and includes the WIFi 6 protocol and becomes the top of the range of this well-known Chinese brand. The Mi Router AX9000 has an antenna and hardware design that allows it to reach maximum speeds even at 12 meters with obstacles and walls thanks to its 12 independent antennas. Surprisingly, in addition to the usual 2.4 G network we see the presence of two 5 Ghz networks, 5.2 and 5.8 GHz and a 5G_Game band dedicated especially for gaming. It is also implemented support for Mesh networks with other Xiaomi routers such as the X6000/AX3600/AX1800 and Redmi AX5/AX6 and to adapt to the gaming market has configurable RGB light.

Specifications

The Xiaomi Mi Router AX9000 includes a Qualcomm IPQ8072 Hexa Core processor that has four Cortex-A53 cores that go up to 2.2 GHz and two NPU cores to manage AI. It also has 1 GB of RAM. The chip that manages the Wifi has the IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, IEEE 802.3/3u/3ab protocols and reaches up to 4804 Mbps. This router also supports OFDMA, MU-MIMO, BSS Coloring, Beamforming, IPv6 protocol and WPA3 encryption. This Xiaomi also includes an antenna for its own IoT equipment with which it will communicate exclusively.

In terms of connectors we see a good endowment with an Ethernet WAN with support for 2.5G (Auto MDI / MDIX), three Gigabit LAN (Auto MDI / MDIX), a LAN port with support for 2.5G and a USB 3.0 port where we can connect a storage drive for network sharing. The router is configured and updated with the Xiaomi MiWiFi app that is available for Android and iOS platforms and includes NetEase UU gaming accelerator, on platforms such as PS4 and Switch.
