New mini PC available on Amazon under the name of MINIS FORUM UM780 XTX that offers a powerful APU and an OCulink port.

This small mini PC surprises us with its power and connectivity, it also has a special bracket that allows us to put it at an angle on the table. This support design favors the ventilation of its AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS processor which Chip integrates a powerful Radeon 780M iGPU with RDNA3 technology and which you can read our review.

MINIS FORUM UM780 XTX Mini PC Specifications

This MINISFORUM EliteMini UM780 XTX mini PC is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS processor with Zen 4 CPU cores manufactured with TSMC 4nm FinFET technology. A chip that has 8 cores and 16 threads that can reach 5.1 GHz in turbo mode and has a base frequency of 3.8 GHz. The integrated GPU is an AMD Radeon 780M with RDNA3 technology that integrates 12 cores and a top speed of 2.7 GHz, a graphics solution far superior to the previous generation RDNA2.

As for the RAM memory we have two SO-DIMM DDR5 5600 MHz slots where 64 GB Dual Channel is installed. For storage we have a M.2 SSD PCIe4.0 NVMe 2280 of 1 TB and allows us to mount another extra unit to expand its capacity.

Other notable features

For wireless connectivity, it includes an M.2 module with dual-band Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. In the connector area we have 4 USB-A 3.2 Gen2 ports, 2 USB4 ports (with AltDP output), 3.5 mm audio jack, two 2.5G Ethernet ports, HDMI 2.1 video output and another DisplayPort 1.4 with 8K@60fps support.

Thanks to the connectivity we can use an external GPU connected to a fairly inexpensive OCulink interface board to gain a lot of graphics power. The 19V power supply is external and the operating system is Windows 11 Pro, although we can also install Linux.
