MOREFINE M8S, LED Illuminated Mini PC with Intel Celeron N5105

New mini PC that we found in AliExpress with the name of MOREFINE M8S ​​that has some curious features in its design.

Its box stands out for its LED perimeter lighting located on its lower base that seems to be configurable to the user’s liking. It also surprises with its top panel, which seems to be customizable in some way. As engine, we have an Intel Celeron N5105 processor with a good general performance and a minimum consumption, as you can see in our review of this chip.

Of the rest of its hardware, highlight the presence of a wireless adapter with WIFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, which seems to be the norm lately, fortunately, in many miniPCs.

Inside the MOREFINE M8S ​​we find an Intel Celeron N5105 processor manufactured in 10nm welded on its motherboard. This Chip is a Quad Core capable of reaching 2.9 GHz in burst mode and in which we find an integrated Intel UHD Graphics GPU with support for h.265 and VP9 video playback up to 4K60fps resolutions. Attached to the processor, we have a fan that extracts air from the side of the box to keep temperatures low.

For RAM we have options with 8 / 16 GB DDR4 LPDDR4. In storage, we find space for an M.2 NVMe 2280 SSD with options ranging from 128 GB to 2 TB of capacity.

Other features

The MOREFINE M8S ​​includes Wi-Fi 6 wireless connectivity with internal antenna and Bluetooth 5.2. In terms of ports, we find three USB 3.0 connectors on the perimeter of the box, three HDMI 2.0 video outputs that allow video resolutions of up to 4K@60fps, a 3.5 mm audio jack and finally 2 Gigabit network connectors.

The operating system included in the versions with SSD is Windows 11, although any Linux distribution can be used. The power supply is external 30W and connects to the miniPC through a USB Type-C port.
