Another new Chinese Android Box appears in stores, this time based on the recent Octa Core Allwinner H728 processor, the MORTAL H728.

This is a TV-Box oriented to 4K multimedia playback, IPTV or to use games and emulators, and that at least comes with Gigabit Ethernet and Wifi 6 in all its versions.
The operating system that accompanies this Android Box is Android TV 14 and can be used as a content receiver, since it supports Chromecast, DNLA, AirPlay and Miracast. It includes an infrared remote control with microphone and direct access keys to different streaming platforms, although as it is not a certified box we will not see them in good quality.

This new Android Box is powered by the new Allwinner H728 Octa Core SoC manufactured in 22 nm. This is a chip that integrates 8 ARM Cortex-A55 processors that reach up to 2.2 Ghz top speed. The GPU is an ARM Mali-G57 MC1 with support for 4K video playback at 60 fps and compatibility with HDR10 and HLG technologies.
This Android Box comes in versions with 2/4 GB of DDR3 RAM and 16/32/64 GB of eMMc storage memory, which can be expanded thanks to the included micro SD card slot, up to at least 64 GB.

In the field of wireless connectivity, we have a good endowment thanks to its Wi-Fi 6 with internal antenna and Bluetooth 5.4. As connectors, we find in its plastic case a USB 2.0 port, a USB 3.0, RJ45 Gigabit network connector, 3.5 mm jack for an infrared sensor extender cable and an HDMI 2.0a video output port that allows us to output video in resolutions up to 4K@60fps.
