MSI PRO AP241Z, new 24″ all-in-one with Ryzen 7 5700G presented

Presentation of the MSI PRO AP241Z, a new range of all-in-one for all kinds of uses. This time it chooses as engine the powerful new AMD Ryzen desktop APUs and a 24-inch panel.

In these MSI we will find the range of Ryzen 5000G series APUs with up to the powerful AMD Ryzen 7 5700G processor. An all-rounder chip in every way that includes a VEGA 8 iGPU that makes it suitable even for games at 720p resolution. The design is very clean, with a screen with minimal frames and an outer part that looks like that of a normal monitor. For the operating system we already have Windows 11 Home installed and we just have to see the price it will have when it arrives in stores.


MSI PRO AP241Z main specifications

The MSI PRO AP241Z includes inside as its heart an AMD Ryzen 7 5700G APU manufactured in 7nm. This processor is an Octa Core with 16 threads capable of reaching 4.6 Ghz in turbo mode and with a base frequency of 3.8 Ghz. The integrated GPU is a VEGA 8 with a top speed reaching 2 Ghz.

For RAM we have 2 SODIMM slots where to install up to 64 GB DDR4-2400/3200 while for storage we have space for two units, as we have an SSD M.2 connector and another SATA3 for a 2.5-inch drive.

Display and other features

The display is a 24-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels that is accompanied by a pair of 3W speakers and optionally a Webcam to fit on top.

For network connectivity we have an internal M.2 card where we can count on up to Wifi 6E + Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity in its most powerful version and a Gigabit Ethernet port with Realtek RTL8111H controller. As we find 4 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A ports, 2 USB 2.0 Type A, 2 audio jacks 3.5 mm and HDMI 2.0 for video output.

The power supply is external 120 W and the sound chip is a Realtek ALC897 with 7.1 channels.
