It has been a long time since we last saw a Nokia tablet, but with the new Nokia T20 this legendary brand offers us a product at a very reasonable price with sufficient specifications for everyday use.
In this Nokia T20 tablet we will find the Android 11 system, which according to Nokia has a system almost unchanged, with two years of support for the OS and three years for security patches, points that are appreciated. The tablet does not stand out much for its design which is quite conventional, but for its screen with a size of 10.4″ and 2K resolution that will give us an adequate image quality. A cheaper rival for the recent Xiaomi Pad 5, something we will have to take into account.
SoC, RAM and Storage
The Nokia T20 tablet will apparently have two versions depending on the region. One with the popular UNISOC T610 SoC that we have seen in countless Chinese tablets and another version with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC. Two chips that are not the newest in this sector, but are sufficient for home multimedia use.
On the motherboard we find 3/4 GB of RAM and for storage we have 32/64 GB of internal memory, it is possible to expand this capacity with the micro SD card reader up to 512 GB extra.
Display and other specifications
The Nokia T20 has a 10.4-inch touch screen with a resolution of 2000×1200 pixels, 400 nits of light output and fairly small bezels. The body of the tablet is made of aluminum with IP52 protection and on the front screen we have a 5 MP camera with microphone that complements the rear one also of 8 MP with integrated flash.
The tablet will have in the basic version Wifi aC connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0 and another more complete version with 4G-Lte modem + GPS. This tablet integrates an 8200 mAh battery with 15 W fast charge that theoretically leaves us a good autonomy and will also include two speakers for audio with IP2 protection. In terms of connectivity we have a single USB Type-C port for data and recharging, plus a3.5mm audio jack.
