ZTE has just launched in China a new high-end terminal called Nubia M153 that comes supported by a new assistant with artificial intelligence.
A limited edition model that integrates the artificial intelligence “Doubao” of the company ByteDance in the operating system that is positioning itself in the Chinese market. Behind this company is the popular TikTok platform that competes in China against AI assistants from Huawei and Xiaomi, among others.
As an engine we have in this high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite that being manufactured in 3 nm will provide us with high energy efficiency and plenty of power when we need it. Also, noteworthy in this terminal is its set of 4 cameras of 50 MP that will foreseeably give a good performance in photography.

Specifications of the Nubia M153The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Octa Core processor manufactured in 3nm is in charge of moving this Nubia. Inside this Chip we find a configuration of 2 clusters, the fastest with 2 Prime Cores that reach 4.6 Ghz and a second with 6 Performance Cores that reach 3.6 Ghz. The GPU is an Adreno of which no details are specified at the moment, but which promises an increase in performance and efficiency of almost 25% compared to the previous generation.
The RAM memory is 16 GB LPDDR5X although we can expand it virtually as usual. For storage, we have versions with 512 GB UFS 4.1 high speed, it does not have micro SD.
Display and other features
Its display is an LTPO AMOLED display with 6.78-inch size, 2800 x 1264 pixels resolution and 144 Hz refresh.
For selfies, we have a 50 MP camera on the front, while on the back we have a 50 MP OIS main sensor, a 50 MP OIS 2.5x telephoto lens and a 50 MP wide-angle lens. We also find fingerprint reader under the screen, 5G connectivity with Dual SIM, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and multi-satellite GPS.
As for connection interfaces, in this new phone we have at our disposal a USB-C 3.2 Gen1 port for data and recharging. The battery is 6000 mAh with 90 W fast charging, 15 W wireless and for audio we have two symmetrical speakers.
Availability and price
- The new Nubia M153 is currently only on sale in China for a price of around $500 at the exchange rate, and is not expected to leave this country.
