The new OnePlus Turbo 6X, a mid-range smartphone with some pretty impressive specs for its starting price, has just been unveiled in China.
It’s a smartphone with a 6.75-inch AMOLED display manufactured by Samsung, featuring a robust 8,000 mAh battery and a durable body with IP69K dust and water resistance certification. Under the hood is the new mid-range octa-core Mediatek Dimensity 7360-SUPER processor—a slightly more powerful variant of the Mediatek Dimensity 7300—paired with fairly fast RAM and storage.
The operating system is Android 16 with the ColorOS 16 overlay, which integrates various AI-powered tools, such as photo editing features.
OnePlus Turbo 6X Specifications
The SoC chosen for this new device is a MediaTek Dimensity 7360-SUPER, an octa-core processor manufactured on a 4nm process. This chip features 4 ARM Cortex-A78 processors clocked at up to 2.6 GHz and 4 ARM Cortex-A55 processors clocked at up to 2.0 GHz. On the graphics side, it features an integrated ARM Mali-G615 MC2 GPU clocked at 1.3 GHz, and finally, it includes a MediaTek APU 655 for artificial intelligence tasks.
The RAM is 8/12 GB LPDDR5X, and for storage, there are options with 128/256 GB UFS 4.1, although this time it is not expandable via microSD card.
Display and other features
The OnePlus Turbo 6X features a 6.78-inch Samsung AMOLED display with a resolution of 2772 x 1272 pixels, brightness reaching 1400 nits, and a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. On the camera front, it features a 50 MP OIS main rear camera supported by an 8 MP wide-angle lens and an LED flash, while the front-facing camera is a 16 MP unit.
For audio, there are two speakers, and the battery is an 8000 mAh unit with fast charging up to 80 W. For connectivity, it features Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, an IR sensor, GPS, and a 5G modem with dual SIM support. In terms of ports, there is a USB-C port; the fingerprint reader for unlocking the smartphone is integrated under the display, and for audio, there are two speakers.
Price and availability
