Launched the new OPPO F29 Pro a mid-range smartphone that has some quite interesting differential aspects such as its large internal antenna, Network Boost, which occupies much of the frame and significantly improves coverage according to the brand.
We also highlight its good 6000 mAh battery with Supervooc fast charging up to 80 W and its body that gives us IP69 certification with which we can even use it for some underwater photography at low depth and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 screen glass. Its weight remains at 180 grams, not bad to have an ultra-resistant body.
An OPPO terminal that uses the Mediatek Dimensity 7300 SoC, an evolution of the Dimensity 7050 which exceeds up to 25% in CPU and 20% in GPU thanks to its new Arm Mali-G615. It’s AMOLED screen with refresh that reaches 120 Hz and the operating system is Android 15 with the ColorOS 15.0 layer.
Specifications of OPPO F29 Pro
The SoC of this new OPPO smartphone is the recent Mediatek Dimensity 7300, an Octa Core manufactured in 4 nm. Inside this integrated we have two clusters, the most powerful with 4 ARM Cortex-A78 processors that reach 2.5 Ghz and the most efficient with 4 ARM Cortex-A55 processors that reach 2.0 Ghz. The GPU is a Mali-G615 MC2 that reaches 1047 Mhz and includes support for HDR10 technology. We also have an NPU 655 for artificial intelligence work.
The RAM memory has versions with 8/12 GB LPDDR4X although as always we can expand it virtually with the storage memory. For storage, we have options with 128 / 256 GB UFS 3.1 that we can also expand via micro SD slot up to, we assume, with 2 TB capacity cards.
Display, cameras, and autonomy
The display panel used by the OPPO F29 Pro is a 6.67-inch AMOLED with 2412 x 1080 pixels resolution, maximum brightness of 1050 nits, 120 Hz refresh, 20:9 aspect ratio and includes a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protective glass.
For selfies we have on the front a 16 MP camera that complements the rear sensors integrated in a circular module, with a 50 MP OIS main sensor supported by a 2 MP monochrome depth sensor. We also have fingerprint reader integrated into the screen, 5G/4G LTe connectivity with Dual SIM, Wifi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and GPS 4 in 1 for precise positioning anywhere
As for connection interfaces, in this new terminal we find a USB Type-C 2.0 OTG port for data and recharging and a 3.5 mm audio jack that lately is in danger of extinction. The battery is 6000 mAh with Supervooc fast charging up to 80 W and for audio we have stereo speakers.
